I jumped back into a longer workout today and feel nice and peaceful! It was good to get one in today! Healthy choices lead to healthy body! I STARTED SCHOOL TODAY. After 10 years of a different kind of education, here I stand, books in hand (well, epic isa backpack), taking the steps to serve this world on a deeper level. .
I’m enrolled in nursing school at the moment, but considering med instead. When my nana was in the hospital during her final days, I was speaking with the doctor about what exactly was happening with her (big gratitude for all the docs and nurses involved in treating her), and he asked if I had been to med school- when I said no, he asked why, insisting that I should embark on that journey. .
Many of you may know, I’ve been longing to become a midwife, to journey alongside beautiful women and their families while they grow a human (ps, how incredible is that superpower???). I’ve explored options, but the timing hasn’t been right. Well, it is now !! .
With my long term plan of opening a birthing and yoga retreat centre, I figure, why don’t I become a doctor? How amazing would it be to be trained as a midwife, but also an OBGYN? How powerful would it be having the privilege to serve these families without bounds? And then some? .
Some people say things like, “that’s so expensive,” or “do you realise how long that’s going to take?”, but what they don’t see is the work I’m doing NOW will put me in a position down the road where my company will gift me the TIME and FINANCIAL FREEDOM to not only put myself through med school, but to focus on it, to not worry about making ends meet. To still be able to look after my family even when I’m doing residency and can’t “work another job”. .
So here’s to #isagenix for gifting me the opportunity to work towards a greater sense of contribution in this world, on so many levels ! The value received thus far is unparalleled and we are only 👏🏽 getting 👏🏽 started 👏🏽 .

(MEAT) which cause ulcers and cancer in the intestinal tract and stomach. The body convert meat into uric acid, which attack the muscles of the body causing poor circulation, high blood pressure and heart attack. They turn into a gooey substance (mucus) that travels throughout our entire system after they are broken down by our digestive system.
Whatever we eat; our body will try to turn it into blood but unnatural foods and flesh cannot be converted into blood,, So the body will convert it into mucus.
Switching things up makes lifting much more enjoyable than doing the same exact exercises, splits, sets, reps, tempo, etc.
I believe many fitness beginners fall off early due to boredom with the same routine. Now don’t get me wrong, consistency is the name of the game in order to become healthy & fit but if there’s no flexibility in your program, your workouts can get stale and repetitive. I encourage you all to add some variety to your workouts and have some fun on your fitness journey✌🏽
The word "healing" has been on my mind for months now. I wasn't sure what this was going look like for me. But with each passing week, the definition is evolving and becoming more clear. "HEALING"; the first thought that may come to mind might be medical healing or a cure for your diagnosis. This was my initial mindset before the recent visit (this past week) with family and friends.
I spend the week taking care of my childhood home, cleaning the rooms that hold memories, watering the garden that puts food on the table, or feeding chickens, etc. Along with time spent with friends and family, I’ve realized the need for more than just healing my medical conditions.
I have spent the past months healing on many levels. Becoming my own healer looks like hugging or shedding tears during vulnerable conversations. Healing by watching old family films and feeling peace and gratitude for the happy memories. Healing through child-like activities, laughter, being more carefree and silly.
We can be our own healer not with the intention of curing every issue, but just to hold the intention that we're moving in the right direction.
Healing the mind through conversations, the body with whole foods and big hugs, and the heart by seeking peace in your past and present situations. ♥️
