Glow Time- Glowing in the Halo of the Full Buck Moon and Thunder Moon energy. Close to the tide and rhythmic salty waters. The full moon lunar eclipse is due tomorrow, July 16.
The moon was named by the Algonquin people after the male deer who grow their new antlers at this time of year. It’s also referred to as the Thunder moon acknowledging the stormy season and abundant rainfall that marks this time in the summer.
An eclipse occurs when the Sun, Moon and Earth are in total alignment. During a solar eclipse, (like we experienced on July 2nd) the Moon is positioned between the Earth and the Sun and casts a shadow. During a lunar eclipse, the Earth is positioned between the path of the Moon and the Sun and casts a shadow on its satellite.
Consider what is in alignment in your life right now? What new growth can you celebrate? What are you be thankful for? What challenges have you overcome? What has been previously obscured that is coming into illumination for you? Perhaps you can draft your answers to the prompts in your journal.

Grounding is something I try to do at least once a week to ground my energy 🍃⠀
Standing barefoot on the ground and absorbing the energy from the Earth helps heal the root chakra. ⠀
Without a stable root chakra we feel unsafe and insecure. We don’t feel like we have anywhere to call home. ⠀
By reconnecting with nature you feel like you’re coming back to yourself again, because after all we are never separate from nature, in fact we are part of it. ⠀
So when you’re going through an awakening and feel like your energy is all over the place and you’re not sure what day of the week it is anymore, grounding is the best self care. ⠀
Important tips for saging an area that I have learned and pass along to my Reiki Guests:
1) Ground and protect your energy.
2) Call in your Spirit Guides & Angels for assistance.
3) Clear out is the energy/ lower vibrations. I always say “Only love and light may exist in this healing space. Anything not of the light must be gone, go to the light.” Repeat that three times.
Continue that in every corner of the room. Moving towards the center of area.
4) Now fill the freshly cleared space with your intention and white light. FEEL this light.
Ask for assistance from your Spirit Guides and Angels. They can help you fill the space with light. Once space is infused with healing, loving light; place a layer of protection.
5) Upon completion, thank your Spirit Guides and Angels for their assistance.
6) Enjoy your space. 💗

After long periods of working in my office, I like to take a break by walking outside barefoot. Something about it shifts my body into a better state and makes me feel good. As it turns out there’s scientific evidence to support why!
Here’s some info from NCBI on grounding (also called earthing): ...”emerging scientific research has revealed a surprisingly positive and overlooked environmental factor on health: direct physical contact with the vast supply of electrons on the surface of the Earth. 🌿One of the very first things I did when I got home was take my dog for a walk 😊 and get my bare feet on the ground.
🌿First of all, walking is healing, it helps reduce stress and build your immune system. Top that with your bare feet connecting with the electrical charge that God so creatively put in the earth, it helps dispel jet lag. My head was so foggy when we first started walking but within a few minutes of being on the grass, my head cleared up quite a bit. .

Truth: I have traveled 6 weeks straight with a 3 week break in between which essentially I focused on some #selfcare while doing #grounding and #editing work.
Feeling a little more settled in our new place.
A better sense of gratitude and balance, a bit more of excitement as our photography divisions grow. So appreciative of everything that is come our way... my swift intro to compliment priors!
Here are a few things about me:
1. Talking about myself tends to be a bit of a challenge. (Getting better at this)
2. Why Photography? I love finding emotion in my captures when shooting a wedding or a lifestyle branding project
3. I find much love and understanding in the goodness that surrounds me.
4. I have taken a break from functional workouts, body needs a break. I still meditate.
5. I speak Spanish + Spanglish [ if that is even a language; I guess when raised in #Miami, you have that ability]
6.I’ve become more forgiving and less harsh on my own habits. Accepting is healing.
7. Went to school for 12 years and got 3 degs and zero debt ;)
8. I adore animals - I have 2 fur-babes: Boca, a cat + Cesar, an adorable German Shepherd.
9. In my spare time I run a wellness site + IG account to motivate others in their own journey.
10. I would not be here without the support of my husband, @affirmliveconnect who never batted an eye, when I told him I was quitting my careers to do something I was truly passionate about: Photography.
11. I have an extraordinary tribe of friends both who are amazing humans and creatives in the wedding + commercial industry - I’d be lost without them.

One of the ways I ground myself when I'm experiencing anxiety is by bringing my awareness to how my feet feel in my shoes and hold it there for as long as I can and any time my mind wanders to worried thoughts I bring it back to the sensations in my feet. Good morning Soul Friends! Welcome to Monday. Today’s message, much like last Monday’s, focuses on self care. Some have been hit really hard by Mercury in retrograde, among a few other planets also in retrograde, the full moon, the eclipse and general influx of energy roaming about during the last week. You’ve been feeling drained, scattered with your thoughts, anxious and irritated.
The universe wishes to guide us into becoming more centred, calm and grounded. Lately this has been a challenge for some, but you’re going to begin to feel more settled towards the end of the week and more so the following week. In the meantime, seek solitude, rest and comfort. If you’re able, get outdoors and connect with earth’s healing energy. If you prefer yoga or meditation, gift yourself extra time to gain grounding.
Men have been particularly restless and in their thoughts. Many have been battling with their emotions in silence. Looking to release karmic cycles, come to terms with change and regain balance, the Divine Masculine collective has been shifting through major change. Some are open and ready to embrace a new chapter, while others are adamantly resistant to what the universe is bringing forth.
Friends, rest easy and do your best to take it slower this week. You’ve be challenged to do so, but the choice is yours.

Grounding and centering food.
Fruit is the the greatest, most truest food we can consume.
It is perfectly designed for our bodies.
