I finally got round to putting up my garden clock. It’s absolutely stunning. My clematis has grown well this year and has bloomed all around it. I purchased this grey Kensington outside clock a couple of years back from @bm_stores which cost £9.99. #gardenclock #clematis#grey#pink#garden#gardendecor #bandm#clock
You can never go wrong with roses! 💗Happy care tip: Plant roses where they will receive a minimum of 5 to 6 hours of full sun per day. Morning sun is especially important because it dries the leaves, which helps prevent diseases. Roses grown in partial sun may not die at once, but they weaken gradually, producing subpar blooms and overwintering poorly 🌹🌹 What are your favorite color of roses?
The last several days I've been stressed, really stressed, so bad I'm not sleeping and just wide awake trying to figure things out. My life is never short on things that need my attention, but I seem to be in a season where more than usual is pulling at me. Today I woke up to something that added another element of stress and I felt myself ready to crumble. Almost as if this was the feather that tipped the scale and since it's not in my nature to give up and crumble to pieces (even though I do often want to curl up in a ball and hide), I got dressed and went out to work. I don't mind hard work and I don't mind pouring energy into something productive, so I collected and moved a cart full of dirt, which isn't easy on our very rocky and sloped property, especially where I was carting the dirt too, but after a lot of effort and sweat, I got it where I wanted and started to shovel the dirt back out and into a small raised garden bed. The dirtier I got, the better I felt. Thankfully it wasn't as hot today as it has been. I got all the dirt moved and planted old seeds (many were packaged for use in 2013, some even earlier years), so they may not grow, but it felt good to do it. I continued working on projects until just after noon, including harvesting some catnip and then I came inside to work on lunch. The stress feelings are still there, but not as crippling as they felt this morning. The little guy and I did some reading in my books about catnip and made a tincture that will be ready in about 6 weeks. I also hung a decent amount of catnip to dry for later use as tea. ❤
My oldest didn't know I was gardening today, but ended up surprising me with the perfect gifts for my new little garden 😍
