#realtalk !!! Me this week 🤪... MONDAY: yes!! I’m feeling super lean, I’ve made a ton of progress, what I’m doing is working
TUESDAY: I feel kinda puffy. I look the same as I did 2 years ago — I’m digressing. 😡
WEDNESDAY: feeling lean 🙌
THURSDAY: feeling bloated. Did my muscles get smaller overnight?
FRIDAY: feeling pretty lean and strong 💪
Can anyone else relate?! 🙋🏼♀️ There are SOOO many factors that come into play with all of this.
1. How much sleep you got
2. What you ate that day
3. Stress level
4. Water retention
6. If you drank carbonated drinks or used a lot of artificial sweeteners
7. Certain time of the month (for women) 😉
My point of all this?! Don’t get discouraged. Be patient with yourself. Try to recognize what you did the day before that made a difference with the bloating/water retention.
Xoxo ❤️😘❤️ ———————————

It takes years to truly learn who you are as a person and you owe yourself a lifetime of love. 💕
The road to finding yourself is not always pretty or easy. It takes being alone, heartbreak, laughing to the point of tears, making mistakes, valuing your emotions, honoring your body, and opening your heart.
Only till you fall in love with YOU, do you realize the capacity of love you are capable of giving others.
So, cheers to loving the person I am growing to be, finding love, and shining light onto others. 🍹✨
Glass half full? Having a bad wrist injury has forced me to step outside of my comfort zone and actually train new skills that I might otherwise have avoided.
It’s no secret that my upper body strength is my crutch—I depend heavily upon it in various aspects of my life and, especially, any and all athletic endeavors I pursue. When in doubt, muscle through it—that’s kind of my motto.
Pull-ups and push-ups? I crush them. Squats and lunges? Not so much. Bench press, rows and lat pull-downs are my jam. Anything that requires balance, coordination and flexibility? Definitely not my jam. Moving fast and efficiently through the water? Absolutely my comfort zone. Flipping and twisting around mid-air? Totally not my comfort zone.
Moral of the story? My injury, although debilitating and excruciating, hasn’t been all bad. Case and point? I’m slowly but surely beginning to nail down this skill—which I lovingly call the full butterfly, even though it has its own official acro name. As always, mad love and major props to my favorite human in the world (@deathbeforeflatfeet) for his endless patience, compassion and awesome coaching skills. You make me look good babe 💕
Meal prep for our work stretch! I’m calling this a Greek-Breadless-Panzanella Salad. 🤷🏻♀️ Chunky raw veggies (zucchini + cherry tomatoes + hearts of palm + red onion) topped with the best chicken of all time. The way we (and by we, I mean Chad) cooked this will now be our new go-to! DO IT: cube chicken breast + sauté in EVOO + dried oregano + thyme + basil + fresh garlic + kalamta olives + green olives + pepperoncinis. Our plan is to heat the chicken + add to the cold + raw veggies + toss with Tuscan Herb olive oil + aged balsamic vinegar. Pretty excited about lunch. And all things cherry 🤤
Today was my yoga theme about letting go of things and Stephanie created the most beautiful session. I’ve been struggling with letting go of a person who made me whole again and different person after I lost my sister. It’s harder when a special friendship fall apart because this was someone who made me laugh every day, helped me moving on from my sister’s death and cared about me in a way my family never did. She was the greatest impact in my life until I started practicing yoga. I met her on the same date I met Stephanie, however two years apart. @stephaniegrecoyoga was the teacher who made me fall in love with yoga and helped me a lot during those past three months. Today, yoga is the greatest impact in my life and I’m very passionate about it. I didn’t let tears down my kind today because yoga made me realize that letting go is about accepting and don’t see those things as bad things. I wrote down several things that I was ready to let go of and then we we watched the paper becoming ashes. Tonight, I will go back to the park where my yoga journey started with Stephanie and bury the ashes from the paper into the ground. I’m looking forward to move on from painful chapters in my life and open arms for new experiences in my life. This year I’m most grateful for that I found the best instructor who I also have a great connection with 💖🙏🏽
👉 Entrena Inteligente, Asesorate Bien.
