💁🏻♀️Monday’s have a way of bringing down our luscious weekend vibes. Sometimes it’s hard to remember how magnetic and bad-ass we are, especially when we’re feeling tired, anxious, or overwhelmed.
In dire times like these, I like to break out an oil combo that I call THE CLEOPATRA 🙌🏻
- 2 drops Patchouli on your wrists
- 2 drops Wild Orange 🍊 on top
- rub wrists together, and swipe behind your ears
Friends, don’t be afraid of Patchouli... when you blend it with citrus oils, it’s the most luscious smell in the whole damn universe 🤤🤤🤤 and as the oil of physicality, it’s extremely grounding and helps manifest your ideas into reality.
Use this blend and watch your Queendom (or Kingdom!) come flocking.
I actually had a gentleman run up to me once to ask what I was wearing, and told me he’d follow me around all day in this scent 😄🥰
Have a beautiful Monday, everyone! 🙌🏻
Ps - I stole this blend from The Good Witch on the Hallmark Channel 😁 Cassie Nightingale really does now what she’s doing 💫
DM me if you’re ready to integrate essential oils in to your work or home life for greater emotional health and vitality 🙌🏻
Learn to love yourself, learn to love being by yourself, learn to love doing all the things that you’ve only ever dreamed of, learn to step outside your comfort zone. Learn to be comfortable being who you are, learn not to worry what others think of you. Learn from everyone and take with it what you will. But be compassionate to others even though they may not align with you, love the world around you, love others unconditionally, but don’t put up with how others treat you if it doesn’t sit with your inner being. Find your meaning of life but don’t live through others. Be balanced in life but stay grounded. Be feminine and masculine at the same time. Live for you and your truth.
Very uncomfortable lessons currently: watching my needy (for love) pattern start to activate, realizing alcohol makes me SUPER anxious, and realizing sadly how hard it is for me to say no. Usually to men. It makes me so sad to see the beliefs and ancestral conditioning that this behavior represents: seriously huge gender hierarchy, much deeper beliefs and wounding than I had realized at first. ⠀
Just gotta keep turning toward the fear & pain I suppose!! Feels like opportunity for real deep healing of some really ancient stuff if I am brave enough to turn towards this wound! ⠀
Libra is working on a video to that effect...talking about gender conditioning and feminine inferiority...but since I am in the midst of these lessons and patterns I was having a hard time joking about it!! Soon to come though...at any rate, using humor in my healing really helps and plus I just find myself so hilarious....such a dork!! ⠀
Also I made a new friend and that’s been a great blessing!! ⠀

Unwed mothers given to God to be reformed and treated like slaves—
When I first came across the Magdalene laundries, I could not believe what I was reading. My jaw literally dropped. I thought, “What?? Magdalene asylums??? How was it possible that I had never heard of such a despicable concept that violated human rights in the name of the holy?” Never mind the fact that the name Magdalene was used once again as symbol for promiscuity and fallen women but that is beyond the point and the suffering these women went through.
Feminine silence has been a cancer in our consciousness for far too long and this horrific period of history in Ireland underlines the necessity to continue sharing our voices, for each other and for the healing of humanity.
Unwed mothers were given to God to be reformed and treated like slaves.
Please read and share. We must give them the voices they never had.
This so important.

Onward women! En avant les Femmes
If you've been following here for a while, you've probably gathered that I love milestones. I really do, I love celebrating them no matter how arbitrary it may seem.
This week marks one decade of life for me in the state of Colorado. 10 years - that's amounted to 3,650 days, 2 college degrees, 1 dog I couldn't love more, 1 marriage (aka 1 very handsome husband), 1 business + too many great friends and cherished memories to count.
It may seem unrelated to this business but at the end of the day, I can trace back the roots of Good Day Design to so many things that could have been inconsequential. College professors who believed in me. Relationships and challenges along the way that led me to this exact path.
After I started Good Day, I found there’s so much to reflect on, to be grateful for and to understand.
I have an exciting announcement soon about rooting a little deeper into this community I love, but for today, I am feeling really grateful for this place I call home and all the amazing that has come my way because of it. Looking forward to the years to come!
Integrating emotions 𓁉
One of the most common question I hear about kundalini reactions is what to do with the emotions. The simplest and most profound answer I can give them is this: FEEL THEM
Having said that, I know it takes courage to do, but its the only way I have found freedom in life.
We are outgrowing this concept of being “spiritually right”. The other day a friend told me she had a kundalini awakening and didn’t understand why she felt so sad. She had been told that a true sage is just neutral or detached.
In my view, this is the patriarchal nature of many western religions. Stripped of the #divine#feminine aspect 🌙, these religions have also been sanitized of emotion, true passion, and the delight of relationship and connection. Opening d’ kundalini provides equal access to the feminine and the masculine, the intuitive and the logical, the physical and the spiritual, and the emotional and thoughtful.
Kundalini is about relationship, about connection. Our ability to be intimate, internally, with others and the Divine. Which only means that will makes us more emotionally vulnerable.
Relationships bring up emotions. A successful kundalini awakening and integration involves continual relationship interactions. Thats why people react to it or afraid of it.
An emotion is the result of a thought 💭 + the feeling that arose from that thought. This emotion is free to flow, unless we decide its unworthy and suppress it down below. If we Feel it, we can learn more about ourselves and the world we live in. If we suppress it, it will rule our future interactions forever.
Life is a composition of all the flavors. What I usually suggest for feeling emotions in a healthy way is this:
1. Accept the emotion
2. Feel it ( find a space you can be with this emotion and allow yourself to feel it without affecting others)
3. Gratitude. Thank you for this Gift. Can you show me your gift ?
4. Ask for healing. Know that you are worthy of happiness, love, abundance, liberation. You are outgrowing a belief: so beautiful ! - be open to meeting the need under the emotion -
When we feel our emotions 💯the Divine Smiles
