Meatless & Low Carb Option Available*
✖️1 cup dry lentils
✖️1/2 cup chopped onion
✖️2 garlic cloves, minced
✖️1/2 cup chopped bell peppers
✖️1/2 cup halved grape tomatoes
✖️1 teaspoon chili powder
✖️1/2 teaspoon cumin
✖️1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
✖️1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

Cheese, Lite Sour Cream & Cilantro optional*
Prepare lentils according to package directions. I used the pre- packaged steamed lentils from Trader Joes.
Coat pan with cooking spray. Over medium heat, add onions, garlic and peppers. Saute for about 3-5 minutes or until onions begin to soften. When the onions have softened, add tomatoes, cooked lentils and spices.
Continue to saute over medium heat for another 3-5 minutes, until spices are evenly distributed throughout the lentil mixture.
Heat tortillas on a dry pan for about a minute on each side. Fill each tortilla with 1/4 cup lentil taco meat and dress with desired toppings. Use lettuce wraps instead for a low carb option.
(per 2 Tacos)

How many cups are you currently eating !? 🍆🍐🥝🍆🥬🍊🍌🥒
So yesterday I did a post about the abysmal nutritional statistics in America — so today I wanted to give y’all an easy to follow basic guideline of how to get in the daily recommended 7-9 cups of whole, fruits & veggies without making your head spin from it being complicated!
This breakfast is my GO-TO. Remember “liquid before lunch,” for both your waistline/weight & health! This is an easy & effortless way to start your day off on the right note with all your daily needed vitamins & minerals in one place thanks to Equilibrium’s Daily Nutritional Support which you add into your smoothie (you can purchase it off my link in my Bio titled: SHOP - Equilibrium Supplements)!
Plus, you’re beginning your day with 2-4 cups of fruits & veggies JUST from your breakfast! Boom! Isn’t that amazing! Also, if you are Vata dominant and get cold easily, don’t add ice to your smoothie 🙃 or opt to add a small piece of fresh ginger to it which will warm you up from the inside out!
Lunch should be your biggest meal of the day between 12-2pm which is when your AGNI, aka digestive fire is the hottest (strongest). This is why I like to have grains or extra starch like potatoes with my vegetable centric meal during lunch!
For Dinner, choose something a bit lighter like leafy greens with 1-2 other veggies, paired with some wild caught salmon or sardines, or 1-2 organic pasture raised eggs, or some lentils or beans! A yummy homemade soup is a great way to get in a ton of veggies too!
You can pick whatever vegetables you want and make your own creations (think more variety/color the better) but this is just a guideline how to get enough fruits & veggies into your daily diet!! I hope this is helpful for you guys!! Remember, if you’re new to healthy eating, aim for 3-4 daily for a week, increase to 5-6 and eventually 7-9! Don’t feel you have to nail this overnight! The only way to stick to something is to gradually ease into it! You got this! 🥬🍌🥝🍐🍑🍊🍅🍋🍆🍎🥥🍎🌽🍎🥒

For lunch today we had leftovers... we looove leftovers! and this meal is definitely a house favorite!
Lentil/refried beans taco base with all the fixings, not to forget the 🥑! So quick & easy, yummy and versatile, I enjoyed it taco-style 🌮 while my wife choose to pile everything up on top of a bed of greens 🥬 Either way, it was scrumptious wholesomeness! "Cheese sauce" inspired by @itdoesnttastelikechicken Melty Stretchy Gooey Vegan Nacho Cheese! And it is definitely all these things and more, even on day 2 after being reheated 🤯

BEING HEALTHY CAN BE SIMPLE!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Nutrition is KEY to a healthy lifestyle, but sometimes finding foods that are in line with our goals can be difficult when you’re out on the go. While you think it might be easier to go through that drive-through, simple preparing can save you from making hangry decisions and costing you money! 💰⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Having a snack on hand can help curve those mid-day cravings, allowing you to stay away from those tempting processed foods while still honoring your hunger cues. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Don’t worry if you’re not a master chef -- healthy snacks don’t need to be complicated. Though it can be fun to whip up one of those Pinterest-style yogurt bowls, we don’t always have the time (or energy) to make that. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
That’s when good old fashion fresh fruits come into play!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
One of my favorites during the fall/winter season (yes it's still fall, don’t let the snow trick you) are APPLES! 🍎⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Not only are apples a nutritious treat but they’re also AMAZING at building your immune system, repairing your brain and heart, and even assisting with losing weight! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
What are some of your favorite healthy snacks on the go? Share in the comments below!

It’s still possible to have a balanced meal with protein, veggies, carbs, and fats at a holiday party. Sometimes I find that there isn’t many veggies served at holiday party’s, so I always offer to bring a big salad! .
The reason I like balancing my meals with protein, veggies, carbs, and fats is because I feel the best eating this way. You’re providing your body everything it needs at a meal. This keeps you full, satisfied, and energized! .

Herbal Remedies \ Plants have been the basis for medical treatments throughout much of human history. Traditional Chinese Medicine has put countless millennia into the study of botany and use of plants for medicinal purposes. In fact, a large portion of TCM knowledge has carried forward into our modern day pharmaceutical medicines, including opiates, aspirin and quinine.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Although often referred to as herbal medicine, TCM spans to also include mineral, animal, shell, fungal and in some cases insect based medicinals in the treatment of disease. The herbal components are always combined into customized formulations so to precisely regulate the individual’s unique condition, prevent toleration and pathogen resistance, and harmonize the herbs to minimize and prevent side effects.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Traditionally the herbal formulas are decocted by the patient/doctor from the raw herbs themselves, but nowadays it is common for patients to have herbal tinctures or powdered extractions that they can add to hot water, or instead they can avoid the tasting part all together and take the herbs in a pill form. Herbal medicine is the backbone of TCM treatment, as it is capable of many powerful treatment effects that other modalities are unable to achieve.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

🛳 I have a cruise coming up in January so I've decided to kick it up a notch and skip my Cheat Day today despite the delicious fluffy pancakes they will be serving at my kiddies school Santa brunch. (I have NOT skipped a Cheat Day in 3yrs ladies!!!!!)
👉Swipe to see my meal this morning. I ate a large breakfast so I can feel full, satisfied and avoid temptation at the brunch.
P.s. it worked! I did not touch a pancake. 💪
This is kind of crazy for me but December snuck up on me and I am feeling a little fluffy... too fluffy for a swimsuit LOL so while normally I'd focus on maintenance over the holidays, this time around I am focusing on lean muscle mass and toning.
The only way for muscle mass and toning to shine bright like a diamond 💎 is to lose whatever layer of fat one MAY have with proper nutrition and consistently exercising.
📸Before and after pic coming soon! 30 Days really can change a lot! .
P.s. if you are in the process of trying to drop inches and/or weight loss, it is absolutely not necessary to skip Cheat Days. I am choosing to skip them because I have already reached my weight loss goal and I am focusing on toning up and showing muscle definition.
Physical weight loss and inch loss is slow which is why it is important to find a program that is sustainable long term. Knowing that I will be back to my normal 1x a week CHEAT day routine as soon as my trip starts makes it much much easier for me to skip them. Oh and let me also mention that I WILL cheat in Christmas and on NYE... because um hello! Lol

Last night was so fun sharing my healthy chocolate chip cookie recipe at my friend’s @roomatthebeach holiday party! 🍪🍫Everyone was amazed how yummy these cookies were with some healthy substitutes. They’re made out of cashew butter and almond butter and sweetened with honey! .
These cookies are made with heart healthy fats from the cashew and almond butter. Also, the healthy fats and protein from the nuts are a filling and satisfying snack. Sweetened with a little honey. Honey raises your blood sugar slower then white sugar keeping your energy from dropping! .
Friendly Reminder: There is nothing wrong with having regular chocolate chip cookies too! Healthy is everything in moderation😊
Serving 1 Cookie
Makes 12-15 cookies
1 cup cashew butter
1/2 cup almond butter
1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
2 eggs, whisk
2 tbsp honey
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
Directions: Preheat oven to 375F. Line baking sheet with parchment paper. In a bowl, combine all of the ingredients. Form cookies with 2 tbsp of mix. Bake cookies for 10-12 mins.
“How do I get my kids to eat healthy?”
It’s a question I get a lot so thought I would pass on some of my tried and tested tricks.
This is a tricky one isn’t it! My kids eat pretty healthy. They still love chips, chocolate, McDonalds and candy. But my motto, is their motto ➡️ all in moderation.
Here are some tips that work for me and hopefully will for you too:
1. If your child sees you trying new foods, particularly healthy foods, they will be more likely to try it themselves. While you are eating talk about how delicious it is!
2. Explain to your child WHY it is good to eat healthy food more than the not so healthy foods. This is a big one in our house. I talk about the vitamins and what good a particular food does to our body. I always say It’s all about putting premium fuel in these premium vehicles that are our bodies 🤸♀️🤸♀️
3. Keep trying! Did you know we gotta encourage trying new foods up to ten times. Research shows that it takes up to TEN tries of a new food to decide if you like it or not. 😮
4. If your kids are old enough ➡️ get them involved! Get them involved in planning the meals, prepping and cooking. They will eat what they worked hard on 😉
5. Have cut up options! When there is a veggie tray out they keep on picking away at it…it is pretty awesome to watch.
6. When all else fails HIDE the food. So many recipes use puréed goodness so you can add those veggies into something unexpected!
BUT most importantly - PATIENCE and KEEP GOING! Don’t stress. Like any new thing the worst thing you can do is quit and push. Slow and steady wins the race. Oh and.....
some of these tips even work on ourselves AND our husbands 🤫🤪🤪😉
Hip openers and booty work?! Yes please!! Our glut strength is often so weak. I see this regularly at our clinic.
Weak gluts, sore back.
Weak gluts, sore knee.
I literally give out glut strengthening EVERY day at work. This program is so on point for helping these weak spots.
Unless you’re pregnant, we shouldn’t feel hungry all the time. When your pregnant it’s normal to not feel normal, and be hungry all the time like. But during the circumstance in life when you’re not pregnant or breastfeeding, you should feel satisfied after a meal, and be full and energized for about 3-4 hours. What about you, how long do you normally stay full after a meal? Most of the time, your cravings are normal, because the body tries to tell you something! We just have to understand and listen to what the body is telling us. Perhaps you’re purely hungry because you didn’t eat enough calories. Or you didn’t eat enough fiber from beans or vegetables for example. Often times sisters are eating too less protein and too less vegetables however. Which very easily creates a craving for “something”. Similarly, we often can get cravings if we don’t drink enough water. The thing is, when we feel hungry (all the time) we are also often tired and moody, and also with lack of energy. Therefore, to ensure to eat healthy type of food items in balanced amounts at regular timings, drink enough water and exercise regularly; you can support yourself to be satisfied! To feel at ease. To have a higher fat burning, to have more energy and better mood and energy. Who doesn’t want that? As always, if this is something you feel you can improve, start with one action at the time. When you have that habit in place, work on the next one. Yes you can! In shaa Allah.

Someone asked me, "Why the big secret? Why don't you just post about your health program for everyone to see?" I remember thinking that same thing myself, so I thought I'd explain.
It's not a big secret, it's simply private.
Most don't want to publicly share their weight, 😮 struggles, food triggers, medications, health issues, mental health concerns, family problems, financial status, goals, dreams, failures, etc... and without knowing those, we can't know how to help them.
So it's not a secret answer, it's simply a private conversation.
Just like you'd expect from a doctor, therapist, lawyer, financial planner, etc. We are fantastic coaches with specialized knowledge and tools. We'd love to have a private conversation with you anytime. We'll give you our advice (for free even!) and you can choose if you want our help or not.
I hope that helps you understand and I'd love to schedule your free health assessment soon!
A lot of people don’t even believe it was me on the left.
This was over 4 years ago and the one on the left is me 3 years ago. This was my biggest transformation.
Here is a picture of how I felt on the left. I was weighing over 215 lbs. I had severe panic disorder, depression and felt completely lost. I had many dreams and hopes but just never believed in my capacity to actually make them a reality.
I couldn’t sleep at nights. Always worrying about the next day. Was I going to do better or was another shitty day going to be my reality again?
I felt sick, tired and hopeless.
There were so many things that helped me in my journey, but One of main point that really turned my life around was learning how to lose weight without dieting.
It was crazy how many diets I had started without ever finishing them because it always felt hard. I LOVE FOOD WITH A PASSION! I couldn’t just restrict myself from it all from one day to the other. I tried, but always failed.
When I finally learned how to balance a healthy lifestyle without starving, is when I was able to stick to a routine that worked for me, made me happy and gave me the results I wanted.
I was able to lose more than 40 lbs in the first 5 months of my journey. I was feeling amazing, energetic and most importantly full of hope. I COULD DO THIS! I finally felt like I was capable of sticking to something and succeeding. I was finally able to feel good, look good and DO good!
Through my journey I have been able to teach many other women do the same and I am now ready to help more women!
I have 10 spots available to help 10 women reach their goals. Drop a heart in the comments if you are ready for the transformation of your life 💞

What?! I think I found my calling. Bean bags & hammocks?! 💕 I would rock this. 💪🤣 Thank goodness we learned to get/stay healthy with nutrition, because this is the only kind of exercise I’m all about! 🤣
A simple eggs avocado salad with homemade mayonnaise. .
A part of limiting processed food is making your own and apparently mayonnaise is super easy to make
1 large egg
1 tbsp vinegar (I used date vinegar)
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup light tasting oil ( I used Bertolli super light olive oil)
Add everything together in a food processor and slowly drip the oil sampai pekat
Bila buat sendiri, you have the control of the ingredients. No sugar, no preservatives and definitely no MSG

This year will be over in the blink of an eye! 😱
Are you excited? Scared? Desperate for the year to be over? Insanely motivated to start a new year?
How about we take a breath! How about we slow down just for a second.
Let me ask you something...
Where are you now? How do you feel? What do you need to change?
I know New Years is all about the resolutions and new goals. But seriously, how many New Years have past and your New Years resolutions stay lingering in January and end up forgotten by February.
Ever wonder if it’s because there is something wrong with you?
My answer to that is NO! There is nothing wrong with you.
However maybe you’ve been doing it all wrong. Maybe, the reason why you have failed in the past, is simply because you haven’t prepared yourself since before the year even starts. We wait till the first of December or actually, the first week of December (because New Years leftovers, hangovers, etc right?) to be able to finally start planning how we are going to turn our life around.
This morning I was listening to one of my favorite mentors Jim Rohn and he said “Don’t Start your year, until you finish your year”. Meaning, don’t take a step into anything until you have a plan! Now I’m all about just going for it even if you don’t know what the hell you are doing but, I truly truly believe that you need to at least have a goal, a mission and a vision in order for you to move forward. Otherwise, we end up just running in circles!
So, start planning now! What are your goals, where do you want to be this time next year and what can you start doing now in order for you to start connecting with that?
Share one goal for next year and how you can start making that happen starting now ✨
