Life can be hard, but change is inevitable. It is one part of life that always happens to us, whether we recognize it or not. Are we going to let ourselves stay behind? To be in-slaved to the ‘worry’ of what might, have been? Or, what will, ‘always’ be? Are we going to stay forever locked in an ongoing cycle that never ends? Will we keep going through the motions, riding the moments the best we can, and excepting the parts about ourselves that we do not like; but that we refuse to change? Change is constant. We will always change. But what are you changing towards? Good or bad? Or are you changing, just to remain the same...? I’m asking a lot of questions. But unless, we except the reality; of what is we will never move forward. We have to live, life; not only for ourselves but for the benefit of others - as well. Our choices effect everyone. When you’re in a bad mood, others are in a bad mood. When you’re happy, others feed off that happiness. Some others, need that happiness; you bring. Some people, need that joy; you can offer. Faith comes into play whenever you surrender the idea that “you can.” Bc, in truth, you can’t. You can’t do anything right. You will always fail, to some degree; you need help. You need the help of other positive lights around you. So connect. Refresh. Relive and charge your internal batteries of light so that you can charge this world of darkness, one burnt out bulb, at a time. Lights are going out. This life can be tough but WE ARE TOUGHER. Light your candle, turn on your light, charge your batteries and ignite your fires. Feed the flames. Feed other’s flames. We can do so much together. We inspire, we unite and we persevere. We push through when we feel like giving up when we feel like sinking away into our dark holes; of silence. When we shine, we cause others to brighten. So shine my diamonds. Ignite your lights. Whatever caused you to stop shining, stop it. Never forget, but always remember. We all have different power supplies, so use yours to magnify. Use yours to light up a city. Brighten your world around you, be the change you want to see. 💛🙏🏼 #lightworker#starseed#spiritualawakening #awaken#spirit#divine#positivity
Happy AadiVelli to all!! As the Aadi month starts, the traditions and culture can be viewed in each individual.
The month is very specially celebrated to all the Goddess Ambal or any Amman or Thayar. All the women and girls are made to dress up in traditional attire. In home, they make Pooja by offering any sweet to Goddess, and invite their neighbor and relatives by giving Thamboolam.
The whole family comes to temple on Friday or Sunday of the month and offer koozh to the Goddess Amman. This koozh is a very healthy drink which is in the form of kanji (porridge) that is cooked in the temple by ladies and is immediately offered to the goddess. This koozh is made with ragi, varagu arisi (Kodo millet), curd, salt, and water. This is prepared in an earthen pot in front of the temple. The month of Aadi is considered very auspicious to connect oneself to this Divine power.
Lets invoke the blessings of the goddess on this auspicious friday by praying to her.
