The Bay Area has had such lovely weather lately it’s a shame to be indoors. If you’re visiting our city, a transplant or even a Bay Area native, a perennial favorite of mine has always been the Japanese Tea Garden. Located inside #GoldenGatePark, the garden provides visitors from around the world with an opportunity to experience the natural beauty, tranquility and harmony of a Japanese-style garden in the heart of San Francisco.
Pro-tip: Cherry blossom trees bloom throughout the garden in March and April you’ll swear you were in Kyoto!
A photo can be immensely meaningful whether it's by a lot or a little, whether it's attractive or not, with others or only yourself. None the less, a photo is marked as a moment of your life that was put on pause for one split second.
I'm proud to be a part of @serenogroup, one of the largest, independently-owned brokerage firms in Silicon Valley. With our 1% for Good Grant, our Palo Alto Office supported @thebeatwithin with a check for $15,000 in Q3 2019.
We've given back over 2.6 million to organizations in our communities. One of the many things I love about the heart + soul of the Sereno Group.

Emily of @craftandquail will be teaching an introduction to block printing workshop on April 12th. Below are some questions we asked her to learn more about her process!
1. My creative process is inspired by the natural world, especially by smaller creatures that don’t stand in the spotlight too often. I love using art to bring someone’s attention to something in nature they hadn’t noticed before.
2. Right now I’m most excited about incorporating printmaking into sustainability-oriented projects like mending clothing and creating reusable alternatives to disposable products.
3. I’m exploring making natural paints and inks from local materials. My hope is to learn how to effectively use them in printmaking and to be able to trade some of my standard acrylic inks for more earth-friendly alternatives.
