CHAI CONCENTRATE 🍂☕️ save your starbucks money! This concentrate keeps in the fridge for one week and tastes amazing as a latte after being blended with your favourite non-dairy milk. This one was served with homemade oat milk and on ice because the Canadian in me doesn’t care what time of year it is ❄️ Recipe from @tastyyummies though I used a lot smaller of a ratio of concentrate to milk than mentioned in the recipe. This was made using approximately 1:4 concentrate:oat milk ♥️

HEALTHY SUGAR COOKIE DOUGH BITES // You probably knew deep down that I was gonna have some holiday themed cookie dough bites, and you weren’t wrong. Per your request, I finally made a fully GRAIN FREE version of my cookie dough bites, although oat flour also still works if you have some leftover from the last batch of bites you made!
They taste JUST like sugar cookie dough, thanks to an abundance of vanilla and just a *hint* of almond extract. Keep some in your freezer so every day can be a festive one—they’re also a great treat to bring to holiday parties. To make them, you just need:
〰️½ cup unsalted almond butter
〰️1.5 tablespoons vanilla extract
〰️¼ teaspoon almond extract (use real almond extract, not artificial! I like @simplyorganicfoods)
〰️¾ cup + 2 tablespoons blanched almond flour
〰️⅛ teaspoon fine grain sea salt
〰️4 tablespoons maple syrup
〰️Sprinkles, to top (I used @gosupernatural, which are SO cute and don’t have any artificial colors or flavors)
Stir together all ingredients other than sprinkles in a bowl until well combined, then use a small cookie scoop to scoop onto a parchment-lined plate (different nut butters can be different consistencies—if the mixture is too dry to stick together in a ball well, add a bit more nut butter; if it’s too wet to hold it’s shape, add a bit more almond flour).
Top with sprinkles (hooray!!) and store in the freezer until you’re ready to eat, preferably while wearing some VERY soft socks and sitting by a fireplace with a good book. My unofficial start date. Pic on the left was a few days postpartum after giving birth to my twins in 2016. I was miserable. My body was stretched in places it never was (and I was always a big girl). I felt completely exhausted, worn out, unhealthy, disgusting, and I couldn’t go on like that. I told myself I’d give myself a few months to “recover” and accept the change to being a mom of 3 and adjust properly. Once that transition was done, I was starting to buckle down and start a journey for MYSELF. I was done having kids, no more excuses and I would need to start a self-love journey. I needed to stop feeling the way I did and start feeling good. I’m so glad I made this decision to start this journey. I have learned so much about my relationship with food, myself and my body. Are you gluten sensitive, suffer from celiac disease or just avoiding gluten? Check this product I just discovered at my local grocery store! I don’t need to avoid gluten, but decided to give it a try to see how it tastes.
I made Greek chicken Meatballs and added these Chickpea crumbs to the mix! The smell while it was cooking was absolutely incredible and the taste was pretty darn good too! I can’t wait to try on Crispy Crunchy Chicken! These are packed with 5 g protein and 4 g fiber per serving! This is a great way to sneak in some extra fiber since American’s tend to have a hard time meeting their 25-35 g daily requirement! These are also considered low glycemic and has 8% of the daily recommended iron needs.
So if you are looking for an alternative to adding breadcrumbs to your recipes, consider trying this product! I give it a thumbs up! 👍🏼👍🏼

Oh Livia, you’re breaking my heart 💔. I posted about these new great looking dippy biscuits a few days ago, and finally got round to trying them. 🙂 Positives: the nutty sauce is full of flavour, sweet and nutty, and there is no unpleasant aftertaste; it’s all vegan, dairy free and gluten free 👍 Gripes: well, you get 3 mini dippy biscuits (see one in a dessert spoon for scale), some might find the amount of dip a bit on the low side (see how far the spoon dips in); the biscuit texture is odd (it’s tastes like a chilled cheesecake base with a nutty flavour; and for £2.05 (Tesco Express - but you can get a whole pack of GF hobnobs for that), the price point puts it in the deluxe biscuit snack range. 🤔Verdict: the fine dining of biscuits, where the portions are tiny, the price is up there, but the flavours are exquisite, and you wouldn’t mind splashing out for a special treat. 😂 I wish I could like it more.. 💔💔

New research suggests that the small intestines of up to 60% of adults with celiac disease never completely heal despite following a gluten-free diet. SOme suggest it's due in part to gluten contamination in many “gluten-free” foods. A recent study examined 5,624 foods tested by 804 users and found that 32% of foods labeled “gluten-free” contained measurable amounts of gluten. Interestingly, gluten-free pizzas and pastas were the most likely to test positive for gluten with over 50% of samples showing gluten contamination.
But beyond the risk of gluten contamination, a gluten-free diet does not appear sufficient for repairing intestinal damage. In one study from 2010 of 241 subjects with celiac disease, only 35% of subjects saw mucosal recovery of the small intestine after 2 years of following a gluten-free diet, and only 66% saw mucosal recovery after 5 years of eating a gluten-free diet.

Before I started plexus I had a running list of issues
✔️Rapidly gaining weight ✔️Celiac disease ✔️A very unhealthy gut due to Celiac ✔️Horrible symptoms after being glutened (10 day illness of exhaustion, belly troubles and migraines)
✔️Addicted to diet pop
✔️No will power ✔️Extreme exhaustion after ONE work out in which I would never do the second day because my body was too exhausted. ✔️Fatigue and sleepiness always ✔️Tingling in my hands and arms a lot. ✔️Couldn't wear my wedding rings for more than 4 days at a time because my hands would swell and then I would have to take them off.
Now that I have been on plexus for almost a year let me tell you what's going on in my body!!
🌱️ I am no longer rapidly gaining weight 🌱️I am no longer drinking pop at all (with in the first 2 weeks I didn't like the taste of pop!)
🌱️I have a gut that looks normal. So much so the doctors can't even tell I have Celiac disease!🙌
🌱️ If I get glutened symptoms last only about 3 days! And are so much lighter I can actually function!
🌱️I don't crave a lot of carbs
🌱️I have been working out for a few months at least 3-5 days a week and being consistent!!!!!
🌱I'm not always fatigue or always sleepy. 🌱my hands and arms don't tingle all the time!
🌱️I wear my rings every single day and have since month 2 on plexus!
I am amazed at what these products have done for me! When I look at the photo on the left I see an nice tan and a lot of inflammation & puffiness!

Fascinating study looked at adults without diarrhea in an ICU. First year they just monitored them. Second year they gave aggressive probiotic supplementation with VSL# 3.
Probiotics were beneficial for diarrhea prevention in the high-risk ICU patients and conferred a microbiome benefit especially when used in those in the ICU for more than 2 days. In fact- the use of probiotics in ICU patients in year 2 yielded a microbiome gain, even to those NOT on probiotics. •
The use of probiotics was protective against diarrhea in ICU patients, with a significant 72% reduction among patients receiving probiotics compared with controls (P=0.007), and a trend toward a 53% reduction (P=0.115) among their “neighbors” who were not on probiotics themselves.
