En mi caso particular soy más de caminar y hacer otro tipo de ejercicios: 🏊🏽♀️🏋🏻♀️🚴🏽♀️. Sin embargo, la información que brinda la autora sobre la alimentación, la respiración, los estiramientos y la motivación, son comunes a cualquier práctica deportiva y al objetivo de alcanzar una buena salud física y mental; y la forma en que la autora abordó dichos temas me gustó 👌🏻.

Do you ever feel like you are spinning out of control? Things are so busy and chaotic and you don’t know why? Too many commitments? Family stress. Work stress. Insecurities.
How do you handle those times? And don’t tell me you never get stressed or overcommit. I will call you out of that. I have not met a woman yet who has not had stress. A new Mom. A stay at home Mom. A working Mom. A Mom of a teenager. Caring for aging parents. An illness. So.....how do you handle it? Be honest with yourself! Do you push through and not complain because you feel as though that is what you are supposed to do? Do you cry? Do you check out? I can honestly say before yoga and mindfulness work I did all the above.
You are not alone in this. Sometimes life becomes overwhelming with all the things going on.
A few things I do when I am stressed or over committed are: - Take some deep breaths
- Practice some gentle & restorative yoga
-Walk in nature
-Cuddle with my dogs
-Take a moment to reflect and know I am one person doing the best I can
So, my friends when things are overwhelming, stressful, or just too much know you are not alone. Ground those feet into the earth, take a breath. You are one person! The world needs the best of you. Vulnerability is the key to close relationships. . .
The best part of being human is being able to connect with other humans. We’re hardwired for it. We live in tribes and families, work in groups, love as couples and thrive in friendships. The drive to connect is in all of us whether we acknowledge it or not.
Yet, we’re seeing more loneliness, more depression, more broken relationships, more disconnection. What’s happening?.
Vulnerability is the driving force of connection. It’s brave. It’s tender. It’s impossible to connect without it.
But we’ve turned it into a weakness.
We’ve made ourselves ‘strong’. We've become defensive. We’ve toughened up, hardened up and protected ourselves from being hurt. We’ve protected ourselves from vulnerability and disallowed the surrender. Here’s the problem. When we close down our vulnerability we are shielded from hurt, but we are also shielded from love, intimacy, and connection. They come to us through the same door. When we close it to one, we close it to all. . . . . .

Spesso mi riprendo mentre pratico o mentre, come in questo caso, lavoro con il muro, per aiutarmi a liberare le spalle e avere una colonna poi flessibile e un cuore libero.
Quando mi rivedo, provo molta tenerezza, perché mi sento sempre un'allieva.
Praticare ogni giorno con costanza, significa darmi la possibilità di trasformare il corpo e la mente grazie al respiro e ad una attenzione costante e focalizzata su ogni piccolo movimento, quasi su ogni cellula, così come sui pensieri che arrivano, durante la pratica.
Praticare mi ricorda che lo Yoga non chiede perfezione e non la cerca, ma chiede e cerca ascolto e amorevole compassione verso se stessi, nel fermarsi quando necessario e procedere a piccoli passi, sempre vigili e sempre pazienti.
Ogni movimento è un viaggio nell'universo interiore, di cui il corpo è la più densa manifestazione.
Non cercare la perfezione mai, ma cerca te stesso e te stessa durante la pratica 🙏💕🕉️ Om Shanti 💚

Have you done some intentional breathing this morning? For me it works wonders. Here’s how I do it: I get into a meditative state and being to focus on my breath. 2. With each breath I take I focus on breathing in emotions/feelings I’m hoping to cultivate. 3. When I exhale I release emotions/feelings that are disempowering me. I repeat this cycle for a few minutes. TIP! Use some power when you exhale - literally push those feelings out of you. As you breath in visualize your breath being that feeling/emotion. Be intentional and aware, kind and patient, and recenter as many times as you need.
