I know that we can easily be tempted to work without taking a break. If that's the case, I would love to invite you to use this time for stretching and mindful breathing. Feel free to grab something to drink, sneak in some gentle yoga moves, listen to your favorite music or podcast. Let your eyes rest from the screen or whatever you were focused on. Open the window and look into the sky. Enjoy the sound of the outside and breathe deeply. Do you see any trees? Do you hear something that relaxes you? Feel free to return when you are ready or simply say "this is enough work today" and spend the rest of the day taking it easy. If you are up for it, take a walk, cook something delicious, talk to a friend, watch something funny, or just relax. Also, share with me if you have any activities you do in the middle of the day. I used to go to aerial yoga classes back in New York when I was working full time. And now I recently started incorporating swimming into my midday break and I feel so much relaxed and at ease when I return to my work space. ✨🏊♂️🌳

When I came to Australia at the first time, I said “I really want to work near the Opera house or Darling harbour, where I can see the water!”🛥💦 to my ex-coworker, he lived in Australia for 8years. And he said, “Hey, they(managers) don’t hire Asian especially in that kind of hot places😂”. I thought it’s not true, and I work at the place where I wanted to work. 😛 I feel better when I come here🙂🙂
