It’s Monday and hopefully we are all heading into this new week with joy and positivity. I wanted to share this quote today, because it is a gentle reminder to shed what is bringing us down. This could be material things, relationships, habits or even the work we do. It could be big and it could be small. I believe that it’s as important as doing a spring clean, or to organize a drawer - to ask you soul what is still here to serve you and what can be released? When I asked myself this a few days ago I realized that I have been fed up with Facebook for a while and I deleted it off my phone for now, I realized that I’m stressing over housework and that it doesn’t serve the relationship with my children, and I’ve realized that sometimes I don’t accept people for who they truly are but rather want them to be the way I see them. All things to let go off to continue lighter. What does no longer serve you today?
⁉️What are you waiting for?!⁉️ -
- ⚡️Fear feels very real. We feel it in every inch of our being and it can take hold of us and paralyze us. If you can remind yourself that change can be good, change can be the exact thing that you need to step into your happiest self ever, if you can remind yourself that if you change nothing than nothing changes, then maybe, just maybe, you can be stronger than the fear and take the step in the direction to live your best life.
You also don’t have to do it all at once. Trying to change your whole life – the entire routine all at once – is intense and can be overwhelming. If you pick one thing a day or a week or a month and change that, then slowly but surely you will be making the bigger changes that you need to make to put yourself on a new path.✨
We made it. So thankful for all the support from friends. Life literally is a box of chocolates as Forrest Gump says you never know which one you’re going to get. But guess what you got to choose one and go for it... #noregrets#takeaction#bethebestversionofyou
“What are you going to do?” “Do you think you could actually do this?” “Do you think this will actually help?””you haven’t worked out since your soccer days, you’re crazy” “you’ve never lifted weights, what are you thinking?”
“Do you have time for this?”
These are some of the thoughts that ran through my mind and questions I asked myself before I committed to this journey at the start of the year.
For those who don’t know, I started this journey because my stress & anxiety put me in the ER one day (my heart rate randomly shot up to 190bpm and wouldn’t come down. It bounced all around in the 100 range for hours). Dr. Said that I have Sinustachycardia, but this condition is caused by underlying conditions (caffeine, anxiety, stress) and I needed to help those things so it’ll help this thing. I was also losing weight that I didn’t have to lose
I cut out caffeine, but I wasnt sure what to do about the stress & anxiety part. Being a teacher, I dont have much free time to just go and getaway. Working out every day seemed crazy but knowing I needed to fix my physical health, and my mental health-it seemed like the best option, so I said one simple word that jumpstarted it all. YES.
I’m so glad I said YES to a lifestyle that allows me to focus on building my physical health, growing my mental health, and challenges me to be the best version of myself. I’ve never been one to spend time on myself, but taking just 20minutes out of my day to focus on me and done wonders that I cant even explain. -
Did all my problems go away just because I block out a little window of time to spend on myself every working out? No. But has working out and eating right helped reduce my stress, anxiety, panic attacks, and help get my body in a good place? YES. -
Are you in need of a change? Are you tired of being tired? Do you need to reduce your stress & anxiety, but don’t know how? Are you looking for a way to be healthier? Do you need motivation in your life? Do you want a challenge that pushes you to be the best version of yourself?
If you said YES to any of those questions above, you’ve already taken the first steps and it’s time to get you started on your journey!
Transformations can be seen in pictures... I mean look at that booty though🍑😂 But the most profound, are the transformations that happen inside of us.
When you finally WANT to go shopping.
When that smile becomes brighter knowing you have been working hard for YOURSELF.
When you start BECOMING the happy mom, wife, and friend you have always strived for.
When that mirror no longer HAUNTS you.
When you FINALLY found true happiness and confidence in who you are.
Those transformations are the silent wins. The wins that fill your cup and keep reminding you to keep going.
Don’t stop that train because feeling good, feels too damn good!
