Home Remedies for Irritable bowel syndrome

Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) is a common disease and affects the large intestine. A person suffering from this problem with abdominal pain and torsion, bloating, gas, constipation and diarrhea are the main symptoms of Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). If this problem is ignored for a long time then it can become more serious. In some cases the intestines of people suffering from this disease can also be damaged (intestine). Although this is not very common. Initially, the symptoms of this disease can be controlled by eating and eating, lifestyle changes and reducing stress. Irritable bowel syndrome is not a risk of gastrointestinal cancer, but the disease affects the daily routine more. In patients with this cancer-free disease, its symptoms can be seen in both fatal and normal ways. On the one hand, in some patients, the symptoms are so mild that even they are not known, on the other hand, some patients have to go through a lot of physical problems. This disease is not fatal and can be cured by treatment. The treatment for this disease depends on which part of the intestine is affected and how much or less its symptoms are seen in the patient. This problem occurs in women more than men.

Irritable bowel syndrome creates problems due to long-term or repeated changes in digestive system function. Irritable bowel syndrome is not a disease, rather it is a group of multiple symptoms occurring simultaneously. Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) affects at least 10–15 percent of adults.

What is irritable bowel syndrome?

There are several reasons for irritable bowel syndrome. Contractions in the gut muscles consist of the lining of our gut wall muscles. When we eat food, these muscles shrink during the process of sending food to the digestive system, but when the muscles contract more than usual, the gas starts to form in the stomach and swells due to which the bowels are weak. Goes and cannot send food to the digestive system. This causes a person to have diarrhea and develop irritable bowel syndrome.

In most patients this problem is more prevalent during stress. Stress usually results in the release of hormones called adrenaline and cortisol from the adrenal glands. Stress causes irritation in the entire digestive system, causing inflammation in the digestive tract, and the result of all this is that the use of nutrients in the body is reduced. Hormonal changes in women can also be caused by irritable bowel syndrome. In many women, this problem increases around menstrual days. This problem can arise due to sensitive colon or weak immunity. Sometimes, bacterial infections in the stomach can also cause irritable bowel syndrome. Symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome begin to emerge due to intestinal damage from mild Celiac Disease.

Symptoms of Irritable Bowel Syndrome

Symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome are seen differently in every person. Let me tell you that bleeding with feces is not a symptom of irritable bowel syndrome. Bleeding with feces, persistent pain and fever are symptoms of hemorrhoids and ulcerative colitis, symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome are as follows -

  • Constipation or diarrhea- In this disease, a person has diarrhea or constipation which can be more or less. Sometimes diarrhea is common and sometimes with blood. Though it helps with the help of home remedies, but after some time the problem starts again. If the patient starts getting blood in his stool, he may also have anemia.
  • Loss of weight- In this disease, it is very common for the patient to lose weight. Especially if there is a problem of diarrhea during the illness, then the problem of lack of water in his body also arises.
  • Loss of appetite - In the case of Irritable Bowel Syndrome, the patient starts feeling hungry and sometimes even starts feeling nauseated.
  • Abdominal pain or cramps are the most common symptom in patients with abdominal cramps and pain-irritable bowel syndrome. However, sometimes it is so mild that the patient does not know what the reason is and he treats it as a normal stomach ache.
  • Fever - Sometimes a patient with Irritable Bowel Syndrome also has mild or high fever.
  • Stomach constipation. Suffering from severe diarrhea. Pain and twitching in the lower abdomen, increased abdominal cramps and pain after meals. Excess gas formation and bloating in the stomach resulting in a thinner or harder stool. Stomach sticking. Different types of abdominal cramps and pain. Mucus in the stool. Some people with irritable bowel syndrome have problems with urination or sexual issues.

Why does irritable bowel syndrome occur?

In most patients this problem is more prevalent during stress. For example, on the opening day of a new job, before the interview, another cause of stress for which the patient is sensitive. History of personality disorder, depression, anxiety, sexual abuse and domestic violence is a major risk factor for developing bowel syndrome. These activities related to the intestines are controlled by the brain. This control also does not remain smooth. Therefore, Irritable bowel syndrome is called brain-gut disorder (brain-gut disorder).

In some patients, intake of certain foods increases problems such as chocolate, cauliflower, milk, beans, alcohol, gas drinks, chocolates, tea and coffee processed snacks. More stress arises and the stool becomes stiff. Due to this, pain starts in the stomach and food is not easily digested. As a result, the number of cells in the immune system in the person's intestine increases. For this reason, there is pain in the stomach and due to increase in the number of bacteria or virus in the intestine, it starts to stir in the stomach due to which the person gets irritable bowel syndrome.
