Sundaram Select Focus Fund (G)
As the name suggests, this is a focused fund which was launched on July 2002 and invests in a maximum of 30 stocks mainly belonging to large-cap companies. Formerly known as Sundaram Rural India Fund, it was launched on May 12th, 2006. Launched on November 22nd, 1999, this scheme by Sundaram MF is a tax saving scheme that helps an investor get a tax relief under Section 80C of the Income Tax Act, 1961. The minimum lock-in period in this scheme is 3 years, non-compliance of which will make you non-eligible of any tax deduction. The assets that it is managing as on June 30th, 2018 is worth Rs. 2624 crores and the net asset value as on July 27th, 2018 was Rs. 103.1684. The minimum investment amount in this scheme is Rs. 500.
